VHSL and USSF Registration, certification & recertification

VHSL Certification:
To be high school certified you must do all of the following by mid-March:
1) Register on the VHSL website through whistle at https:///whistleapp.vhsl.org
2) Attend one of three VHSL in person rules clinics (you just need to show up and sign in):
January 24, 2023 at Radford High School - 6:30pm
January 25, 2023 at Abingdon High School - 6:30pm
February 13, 2023 at Glenvar High School - 6:30pm

3) Attend the RVSOA High School Clinic
February 11, 2023 at Roanoke College (Massengill Auditorium) - 10:00am

4) Takethe VHSL Rules test (this will be available in whistle on approx Feb 1, 2023)
5) Make sure to watch the VHSL Policy PP video as this is REQUIRED. The video is 5 minutes long. It is located within your whistle account at the top of the screen, highlighted in blue with a link that says "CLICK HERE"

USSF Certification and Recertification (Ages +13):

The registration and clinic enrollment process has changed. Go to the Metro DC-Virginia State Referee Program web site: www.vadcsoccerref.com

‍Click on CLINIC LISTINGS on the left of the page for a list of scheduled and approved clinics and classes. Follow the instructions on the screens to register.

* Note: If you are a returning or recertifying referee, do NOT create a new login. Try the USER NAME and PASSWORD you used for Last year. If that does not work, contact the State Referee Office (888-832-1866) for assistance or contact Mark Ingvaldsen at 540-353-6325 or email him at marki113@comcast.net.
